目前,国内外并没有针对电视口译的显著多模态特征进行的系统深入研究。在此背景下,本书稿以克莱斯和范勒文(Kress& van Leeuwen,2001)所创立的社会符号学流派的多模态传播理论为理论基础,结合社会语言学、传播学和视听翻译研究的相关成果,对从中国电视频道上搜集的有同传译员参与的直播语料进行全面充分的描述讨论。通过多模态语料转写与分析,本书旨在探讨在电视口译语境下意义是如何由多模态符号资源建构这一核心问题。
