本书分东盟、中亚、西亚、南欧、南亚、俄罗斯6个单元对“一带一路”沿线部分国家的特色农业进行了介绍，既涉及农作物的种植，如泰国的水稻种植、哈萨克斯坦的小麦种植等；也涉及农业技术方面，如以色列的节水农业；还谈到印度的农业发展新战略“绿色革命”及部分国家的农业制造的发展等。在结构设计上先以开放性问题进行导入，激发学生的阅读兴趣；再将通用单词与农业单词分类注解，对重点句型进行详细分析；最后设计关于国内相关的农业现状的中译英练习。通过学习本书，学习者既能较全面地了解国际农业专业知识，又能提升英语语言综合运用能力。
作者简介
梅翠平，仲恺农业工程学院国际教育学院副院长，副教授。主要研究方向为英语教学及生态语言学，发表相关论文20余篇，其中CSSCI收录2篇，北大中文核心4篇；主持广东省大学英语教学改革项目1项，广东省质量工程项目2项；副主编教材1部，参加过多部教材的编写。
段国祥，仲恺农业工程学院外国语学院副教授，主要研究方向为网络教学与语言测试，发表相关论文17篇，其中CSSCI收录1篇，北大中文核心2篇；主持国家基础教育实验中心外语教育研究中心项目1项，广东省普通高校特色类创新项目1项；主编教材1部，副主编教材1部，参编教材2部。
