作者简介
弗朗西丝•霍奇森•伯内特（1849—1924），生于英国，后移民美国。伯内特从小喜爱花草植物，在她的住所周围有几个带围墙的花园，这也是她创作《秘密花园》的灵感来源。这本小说初版于1911年，在英美十分畅销，成为伯内特最著名、最成功的作品。除此之外，她的代表作还有《小公主》、《小爵爷》（也译作《小勋爵》）等。
