“葡萄常”是以制作工艺品玻璃葡萄而名满天下的手工家族的称谓。“葡萄常”本不姓常。该家族是蒙古族纽古禄氏，因与满清皇帝联姻，随清入关，居住在崇文门附近。后家境逐渐衰落，到光绪年间卖掉祖屋，流落到花市一带。为了生存，学会了泥陶制作以果品为主，尤以葡萄见长的工艺摆件。该技艺传女不传男，皆为女性传承人，《葡萄常》讲述几代传承人的故事，包含详细 技艺介绍，故事性强。
