本书旨在探究汉语空间词语语法化为体词语这一语言现象的认知动因，并主张其受到事件次序即空间位置这一隐喻的促发，即事件次序（体）这一概念被隐喻性地理解为：（1）运动物体与静止观察者之间的相对位置；（2）运动中的观察者同某一静止有界区域之间的相对位置。前者促发了完成体“过”和持续体“着”的语法化，后者促发了进行体“在”的语法化。
作者简介
王萍丽，女，博士，中央民族大学国际教育学院教师。毕业于美国夏威夷大学东亚语言文学系。主要从事汉语语法研究和汉语习得研究。在专业学术期刊和论文集中发表学术论文4篇（包括独立作者和与他人合著），编著（合著，第一作者）一部对外汉语教学研究生教材（《国际汉语教学论文写作教程》）。
