作者简介
李志东，1964年生，河北威县人。1985年毕业于解放军外国语学院英语系，后留校任教。1987年考入北京外国语大学，1990年获硕士学位。后任教于解放军外国语大学英语学院，师从梅仁毅教授攻读美国外交与中美关系方向博士研究生。2005年获博士学位。1996年复旦大学美国研究中心访问学者，2003年香港大学访问学者。现任解放军外国语学院英语系副教授、外国军事教研室主任。发表论文10余篇，参编教材5部。
本书特色
本书以政治理念对政府决策产生影响为主旨，在廓清新保守主义历史渊源的基础上，着重阐述冷战结束以来新保守派为美国谋划的对外战略目标和实施蓝图，探讨新保守主义思潮对美国外交决策，尤其是对布什政府对外政策发挥影响的方式和途径，并对其产生的效果和未来走势作出评估。
