作者简介
常耀信，任教于中国南开大学及美国关岛大学，教授、博士生导师，研究方向为英美文学。出版《美国文学简史》《英国文学简史》等专著多部；主编有《美国文学选读（上、下）》等教材多套。在国内外刊物上发表。
