大学英语舞台式教学的教材以舞台剧为主要内容和特色，辅以英语基本知识点的学习这一主旨，按照编者对于外语教学与学习过程的理解，根据大学艺术类学生本身英语程度较为低下和英语学习兴趣比较缺乏的现实情况，编写的本系列教材。第一册以简单的童话剧学习为主线（《狮子王》和《美女与野兽》），目的是激发学生学习英语的兴趣，同时为以后的英语学习打好基础。
作者简介
马纳琴，女，蒙古族，1969年12月出生，英国利兹大学硕士。西北民族大学外国语学院副教授、硕士生导师、副院长，从事语言学、口译、写作等课程的教学。先后在《西北民族大学学报》（哲学社会 科学版）、《内蒙古师范大学学报》等期刊发表学术论文20余篇，出版专著1部，教材2部，主持中央高校项目和甘肃省教改项目各1项，参与若干科研项目。丁艳华，女，1973年3月出生，西北师范大学翻译硕士。西北民族大学外国语学院讲师，从事公共大学英语及英语专业精读及西方文化等课程的教学。先后在《科学教育家》《社科纵横》等省级期刊发表 学术论文7篇，出版教材1部，热门话题丛书2部。参与2013年度教育部人文社会科学研究西部和边疆地区项目以及中央高校基本科研项目。
