《商品进出口业务（英文版 第二版）》： Task 2： to make a proper quantity clause in the contract Step 1： key points to be observed in composing quantity clauses （1）The quantity clause generally includes the figures and the measurement unit.When measuring the quantity by weight， the way of measuring the weight should also be indicated. （2）When measuring the quantity by gross weight， or gross for net， the packing method and packing material used are also to be stated in the quantity clause. （3）To avoid future disputes， the words or expressions with vague meanings such as “about”，”approximate”， etc.should not be used in the quantity clause for there is no uniform interpretation on such words or expressions. （4）As it is impossible for the exporter to always deliver the quantity exactly as the contract stipulations， it is advisable to use a “More or Less Clause” in the quantity clause. ……
