汉代前，随着域外蜻蜓眼式玻璃珠的传入，楚人于战国中期掌握了玻璃制造技术。随后楚地出现了玻璃璧、环与玻璃剑饰等具有典型中国特征的玻璃工艺品。在玻璃品的制作上，楚人借鉴铜器的铸造方法形成了独具特色的中国玻璃品制造方法。随着玻璃品的普及，玻璃品迅速融入楚文化，本为外来物的蜻蜓眼式玻璃珠最终本土化，成为楚文化代表性器物之一。随着秦并六国，楚国的消亡，楚文化作为一个整体的区域文化消失，蜻蜓眼式玻璃珠随之淡出中国历史舞台。
作者简介
李会，四川大学考古专业学士、硕士，德国蒂宾根大学（TuebingenUniverslty）史前史与考古方向博士，现任教于华中师范大学美术学院，从事中国工艺美术史与民间美术方向的研宄。
