作者简介
丁洁老师1930年生于上海，自幼在美国人办的教会学校里度过了她的学生时代，先后毕业于上海清心女中和圣约翰大学(St．John’SUniversity)。她从事英语教学实践与研究已有50多年，曾任教北京大学、北京二中、北京四中等名校。
她以语音纯正优美，教法活泼独特，教学效果显著突出而在国内外享有盛名。她曾在中央电视台、北京电视台播讲由她自己撰稿的《实验英语教法讲座》、《高初中英语标准化考试辅导》等节目，影响深远。她在20世纪80年代就独自编写的完全中学《实验英语教材》，收效良好。她著有40多种各具特色的英语教学著作，都深受读者喜爱，其中《英语游艺会》获全国优秀畅销书奖。
她近年来出版的《开窍学英语》和《101首英语歌曲大家唱》尤其受到读者喜爱。《101首英语歌曲大家唱》被认为是“为我国英语教学的配套教材填补了空白”。《开窍学英语》因内容丰富，则被读者称为“英语学习的小百科”，目前被录制成节目正在北京人民广播电台外语广播(Radi0
