黄修荣，男，汉族，福建长汀人。1943年1月生。先后就读于北京大学历史系、中国社会科学院研究生院近代史系。长期从事中共早期党史、国共关系史、共产国际与中国革命关系史研究，曾任中共中央党史研究室室务委员、第一研究部主任、研究员，享受国务院特殊津贴。
