澜沧江—湄公河合作简称“澜湄合作”，是我国倡导的重要次区域合作机制，参与成员包括中国、柬埔寨、老挝、缅甸、泰国、越南六国。农业是澜湄合作五大优先领域（互联互通、产能、跨境经济、水资源、农业和减贫）之一，各国围绕种植、畜牧养殖、渔业、农产品加工等多个产业，实施了一百多个农业项目，有力提升了澜湄次区域农业产业发展竞争力。本书是“澜沧江—湄公河农业合作发展报告”系列第2本，由中国农业农村部对外经济合作中心编写。本书围绕玉米和木薯两个重点产业，从种植生产、贸易水平、产业合作、技术交流等方面梳理总结，旨在了解澜湄国家产业发展与合作现状，为进一步有效利用澜湄基金等资源，提升澜湄国家农业产业化水平提供科学参考与依据，具有一定的出版价值和社会意义。
作者简介
农业农村部对外经济合作中心是农业农村部直属单位，以发展援助、国际合作、投资促进、智库研究为主要业务板块，参与国家农业对外合作顶层设计与政策创设，支持区域农业多双边合作，推动开展农业对外投资促进活动，组织实施区域农业合作项目，开展与国际涉农组织和发展援助机构的全方位合作，是服务于中国农业对外合作的重要力量。
