本书通过对四川盆地及其周边地区40多个钻井岩芯以及地表露头资料生物地层学研究,厘定了扬子区奥陶纪末期—志留纪初期笔石带的划分,综述了扬子区及全球奥陶纪末期—志留纪初黑色页岩的分布与特征,及其各项含气指标的变化、有机质的富集、物理指标分布规律、与斑脱岩分布的关系等,建立了扬子区与世界其他主要地区含页岩气地层的高精度对比关系;证实了龙马溪组黑色页岩在上扬子黔渝地区的阶段渐进展布模式和中扬子宜昌上升范围内的圈层展布模式,论证了扬子区奥陶纪末期—志留纪初期的页岩气都产自五峰组第2个至龙马溪组第6个笔石带内,直接指导了扬子区页岩气的勘探与开发,为我国大力实施页岩气能源战略提供了科学支撑,也是基础研究应用于国民经济主战场的重要实践。

作者简介

陈旭,中国科学院院士、中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所研究员、古生物与地层学家。现任国际奥陶系分会主席。以陈院士为首的专家团队在中国确立了第一个“金钉子”剖面——中国浙江常山黄泥塘达瑞威尔阶的全球界线层型剖面和点位,为中国的地层学争得了国际荣誉。他领导的国际工作组在中国宜昌王家湾建立了奥陶系最高的一个阶即赫南特阶的层型剖面和点位,并于2006年被国际地球科学联合会批准,为中国的奥陶系再获一枚“金钉子”。
