本书是一部文集，其主编有两位，一位是M.祖海尔.纳什德（M.Zuhair Nashed），美国人，中佛罗里达大学教授，另一位是李欣，美国人，1990年加入中佛罗里达大学并任助理教授，2001年起任教授，在数学、统计学、计算机视觉、教育等领域发表论文70余篇。
作者简介
李欣 obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees inMathematics from Zhejiang University, China, in1983 and 1986, respectively, under supervision ofProfessors Zhu Rui Guo and Zhen Sha, and hisPh.D. in Mathematics from University of SouthFlorida, USA in 1989 under the supervision ofDr. Edward B. Saff. He joined the University ofCentral Florida as an assistant professor in 1990and has been serving as professor since 2001. He haspublished over 70 papers in mathematics, statistics,computer vision, and education.
