本书系国家自然科学基金重大研究计划“纳米制造的基础研究”的出版成果。本书为《纳米制造的基础研究》的英文版。本书探索了基于物理/化学效应的纳米制造新原理与新方法，揭示了纳米尺度与纳米精度下加工、成形、改性和跨尺度制造中的表面/界面效应、尺度效应等，阐明了物质结构演变机理，建立纳米制造过程的精确表征与计量方法，发展了若干原创性纳米制造工艺与装备，为实现纳米制造的一致性和批量化、提升我国纳米制造工艺与装备水平提供理论基础。
作者简介
纳米制造的基础研究项目组，项目组组长为卢秉恒。中国工程院院士，机械工程专家。长期致力于先进制造技术的研究，主要开展了增材制造、生物制造、微纳制造与电子制造装备等方面的科研和教学工作。
