作者简介
陈镇炎，男，1984年毕业于福建师大外语系（本科），1990年毕业于华东师大外语系汉译英方向（研究生），同年任职于集美航海学院，后主要从事专职航海英语教学，是交通部海事局考试服务中心特聘航海英语学科出题与审题专家，编著与主编12本航海英语方面的教材与字典。多次在 海事教师联合会、 航海英语大会以及中日韩航海会议上宣读论文并客串主持人，曾为厦门轮船公司、中石油等翻译过大量海船技术培训指导书。
