作者简介

Liang Li-na（梁丽娜）,Dr.Liang has practlced ophthalmology since 1997，havlng re-ceived her Master in Integrative Ophthalmology （ChInese and West-ern conventional medIcine） in 1997，and Doctor of Chlnese Medlclne in 2003 from the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Bejing.She continued post-doctoral work in the UnIted States at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and at the Medical College of Wlsconsin.Dr.Liang is a committee member of the Ophthalmology Society of Beiling，Association of Chinese Medicine.She is a standIng member of the Ophthalmology Committee at the NatIonal Center for Medical Education Research and Development. Dr.Liang is engaged in ongoing clinical research on the modern appllcatlons of tradItIonal Chinese medlclne in the treatment of eye diseases.She is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of fundus diseases，and integrates Chinese medicine with Western conven-tional medicine.Dr.Liang has participated in many research studies supported by the National Nature ScIence FoundatIon （China），the Ministry of Science and Technology （China），and National Institutes of Health （USA）.She has publlshed many articles on varIous topIcs of ophthalmology.Dr.Llang Li-na is the translator of this book. 韦企平（Wei Qi-ping），Professor Wei currently serves as Chief Physician and supervisor of doctoral students at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.He is the only academic heir of the notable Wei’s family Chinese medicine ophthalmology.Dr.Wei is the Chairman of Ophthalmology committee at the National Center for Medical Education Research and Develop-ment，vrice-chairman of the Ophthalmology Society of China Associ-ation of Chinese Medicine，Chairman of the Ophthalmology Society of the Beijing Association of Chinese Medicine，as well as a standing committee member of the Ophthalmology Committee for the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Society.Dr.Wei is an editorial mem-ber of the Chinese Journal of Chinese Ophthalmology，Chinese lour-nal of Prcctico/ Ophtha/mo/ogy，and Chinese Journal of Ophthalmol-ogy.He is also an evraluation expert of the life science department of the National Natural Science Foundation，and a new drug evaluation expert for the State Food and Drug Administration. He has published ovrer 60 professional articles as flrst author，and edited 11 professional books as chief editor or editor.Dr.Wei has practiced in the field of ophthalmology for 43 years.He is expert in diagnosis and integrated treatment of ocular surface diseases and difficult eye diseases，particularly specialized in treating all kinds of optic nerve disease and retinal degeneration diseases with Chinese herbs and acupuncture. In addition to his clinical work，Prof.Wei has hosted and par-ticipated in many research programs supported by the Ministry of Health and the State Administration of TCM，and the projects have gof many prizes.The project “A Study on Leber’s Disease” was awarded the second class of National Scientiflc Technology Progress Prize.Prof.Wei is currently the principal investigator of two grants from National Nature Science Foundation.
安迪·罗森法尔布（Andy Rosenfarb），Dr.Rosenfarb is a Naturopathic Doctor who has practiced in the field of Chinese medicine since 1994，having received his Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine （Magna Cum Laude）.He continued post-graduate work at Zheliang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou，China，and is Board Cerfified in Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine by the Nafional Certiflcation Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine （NCCAOM）.Dr.Rosenfarb is also the former President of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.
