本书是商务英语专业核心课程“商务英语阅读”的教材。全书分为十一个单元。包括靠前经济与贸易、靠前市场开发、贸易保护、贸易关税、贸易战后果、贸易战案例、贸易间谍、贸易争端解决机制、跨国公司、商务与文化、金融危机等话题。每个单元首先通过对单元问题的讨论，导入单元主题。然后提供相关单元背景知识。接着进入两篇与单元主题相关但又不相同的阅读文章学习。每篇文章的后面，配备了几种不同形式的阅读练习，检测和巩固学生的阅读效果。
作者简介
段少敏，男，黄冈师范学院外国语学院教授，硕士生导师，高等学校英语应用能力考试委员会委员。中国英汉语比较研究会会员。主要研究方向为话语分析和基础教育英语测试。先后在《外语学刊》《湖北大学学报》《中国英语教学》等刊物发表论文26篇，主持省部级科研课题1项，参与国家课题1项，参与省部级科研课题2项，主编和参编教材3部。2003年获黄冈师范学院首届青年教师科研成果一等奖，2005年获湖北省教学成果奖一等奖，2013年获湖北省教学成果奖三等奖。
